I loved the idea behind this shoot! Mom called & said that she wanted photos of her boys because they just happen to have the same football number this year (and chances are that will never happen again). How much fun! These young men were so much fun & it was obvious how much they truly enjoyed each other. Lots of goofing around & brotherly banter during this session. We were also able to get mom in a few of the photos (which is always my secret agenda :-).

Thank you for a fun session! I’m a little behind in posting & I think the season is already over. Hopefully these will at least make for good memories of the #58 year:-)

I am so lucky that every year I get to take many of my friends’ family photos. These are three of my childhood friends (that I still talk to on a weekly, if not daily basis) & their families! I’m grateful to have such a tight knit group of friends and my life is a better because of these women & the relationships that we have. We’ve all taken different paths, but no matter what we’ll always be friends. We’ve know each other for so long, that we truly do feel more like sisters:-)Yay for friends!

We weren’t sure we were going to pull off this session. The girls were all dressed & ready, but neither one was particularly interested in letting me take their photos. It was a little cooler than expected (which didn’t help anything). There were tears, lots of sad faces & complete avoidance of me (in the beginning). After lots of distractions & some playing around everyone warmed up (yay!) and the session went on:-)

Fall is one of the busiest times of year! Kids getting back to school, fall sports & activities & thinking about the upcoming holidays. Wait…we forgot the family photos! The perfect solution for the updated yearly photo is a quick mini session in downtown Kirkland! We’ve been busy trying to beat the weather & light to squeeze in the fall mini sessions. It’s been so busy that I haven’t been very good about posting any of these fabulous families to my blog…oops. Well here you have it! More to come….

Summer is really hanging on for us this year! (Which makes for very hot, but fun sessions in downtown Kirkland).Ā  We’re so lucky to live in such a beautiful place & we took full advantage of it for this session. The Allred Family was totally committed to the session (forgoing the back-to-school BBQ & football practice)! It couldn’t have been a better evening with such a great family.Ā The boys were model materialĀ and mom & dad were laid back, gorgeous & fun! Thank you for such a great evening:-)Can’t wait to show you all of your photos!
